CM Jagan Mohan Reddy Honors Tradition with Raja Shyamala Puja

Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy took part in a special puja as part of the Raja Shyamala Purnahuti Yagam at the Visakha Sarada Peetham in Chinnamusalevada. The Chief Minister was welcomed by YSRC leaders at the airport upon his arrival. From there, he traveled by road to reach the Sarada Peetham, where he was greeted by Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, YSRC’s north Andhra incharge Y.V. Subba Reddy, former minister Dharmana Krishna Das, MLC Varudu Kalyani, and others.

At the temple, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy was welcomed by Sarada Peetham Uttaradhikari Swatmananda Saraswati as per the temple customs. He also met Swami Swarupanandendra Saraswati and together they offered special puja before the ceremonial idols of Goddess Sri Sharada Swaroop Raja Shyamala and the Deeksha Peetham.

The Chief Minister actively participated in the Raja Shyamala Purnahuti Yagam for nearly an hour and a half. Swami Swarupanandendra Saraswati expressed satisfaction with the puja, stating that it went smoothly and that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy wore traditional attire during the ceremony.

The presence of YSRC woman leaders added to the welcoming atmosphere, with State women’s wing president Varadu Kalyani praising CM Jagan Mohan Reddy for his efforts in women empowerment. The annual Raja Shyamala Yagam holds significance for devotees, and the Chief Minister’s participation underscores the importance of tradition and religious observance in the community.
