The Ekadashi Vrat is dedicated to the worship and fasting of Lord Vishnu. This date falls twice every month, once during the Krishna Paksha and once during the Shukla Paksha. It is believed that those who worship and observe fasts on this day receive blessings from Lord Vishnu. All their sins are said to be absolved, leading to salvation after death. Do you know how many ways one can observe the Ekadashi fast? That is, what kind of food is consumed during the Ekadashi fast?

The food during the Ekadashi fast, according to Pandit Shivam Tiwari, a priest from Varanasi, has faith as the first requirement, while the religious scriptures describe four types of Ekadashi fasts. According to Pandit Shivam, before starting the fast, the devotee should decide based on their willpower and physical strength during the pledge (sankalp). After that, without making any changes, one should fulfill this pledge.
