The weather experts from IMD say there will be rain in Mumbai from November 25th to 27th, especially along the coasts of Gujarat and Maharashtra. This rain is unexpected for this time of year and is happening because of a low-pressure area forming in the Bay of Bengal.

This sudden rain might cause thunderstorms in certain places in southern Maharashtra. They’ve issued a “yellow alert” from November 26th to 28th for Maharashtra. This kind of alert means people should be a bit careful.

It’s not just here—other states in the south like Kerala and Tamil Nadu are also experiencing unusual rain for November. In Chennai, schools have closed because of heavy rain, and there’s a thunderstorm warning for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Moving towards the north, there might be rain and snow in some areas of Himachal Pradesh starting from November 26th to 30th. This is because of something called a Western Disturbance coming from northwest India, affecting the weather in those parts.

Another one of these disturbances might impact the Western Himalayas around November 30th as well. These changes in weather are essential for everyone’s safety, so it’s good to pay attention to the alerts and stay safe.
