Nara Lokesh Concludes 226-Day Yuvagalam Padayatra in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh [India], December 18: Telugu Desham Party (TDP) National General Secretary Nara Lokesh marked the culmination of his 226-day-long Yuvagalam Padayatra in a grand event held in Visakhapatnam on Monday. The Yuvagalam Padayatra, which covered a staggering 3,132 km across 97 assembly constituencies, 232 mandals/municipalities, and 2,028 villages in 11 joint districts of Andhra Pradesh, came to an end at Sivaji Nagar in the Gajuwaka constituency.

The final leg of Lokesh’s padayatra commenced in a festive atmosphere from CWC-1 of the Gajuwaka Constituency, with the TDP leader traversing almost 100 constituencies during his extensive journey. The event witnessed the presence of Lokesh’s mother, Nara Bhuvaneswari, and other family members, along with thousands of TDP leaders who joined to mark this significant occasion.

During the 226-day-long padayatra, Nara Lokesh actively engaged with the public, participating in 70 public meetings and receiving 4,353 written petitions. A remarkable aspect of the Yuvagalam Padayatra was the direct interaction with lakhs of people, with nearly 1.5 crore individuals connecting with Lokesh during this extensive journey.

Lokesh’s padayatra covered various regions of Andhra Pradesh, including 14 constituencies of Chittoor in 45 days, 9 constituencies of Anantapuram in 23 days, 14 constituencies of Kurnool in 40 days, 7 constituencies of Kadapa in 16 days, 10 constituencies of Nellore in 31 days, 8 constituencies of Prakasam in 17 days, and 7 constituencies of Guntur in 16 days.

The conclusion of the Yuvagalam Padayatra was marked by a culmination event at Sivaji Nagar in the Gajuwaka constituency. However, the grand finale is scheduled to take place in Nellimarla, Vizianagaram, on December 20 (Wednesday). The event is expected to draw a massive crowd, with TDP National President and Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu, and other TDP leaders gracing the occasion. The culmination event will serve as a platform for leaders and the public to come together, reflecting on the journey and discussing the issues faced by the people.

As Nara Lokesh wraps up his 226-day-long Yuvagalam Padayatra, the TDP leadership and supporters eagerly anticipate the culminating event, symbolizing the end of an extensive journey dedicated to understanding the concerns of the people of Andhra Pradesh.
