This distinguished award was presented to Divisional Railway Manager Saurabh Prasad, who received it from the committee’s president, Ranjanben Bhatt.
In a recent development, the committee conducted an inspection meeting at the DRM’s Office last Thursday. During the inspection, the committee thoroughly assessed the implementation of the Official Language (Hindi) within the Waltair Division. Notably, this review took place in the presence of senior officials from both the ministry and the department.
Representatives from the Railways included DRM Saurabh Prasad, ADRM (Operations) Manoj Kumar Sahoo, Rajbhasha Adhikari (ECoR) Yelleena Panda, and Rajbhasha (in-charge of Waltair) A. Venkateswara Rao, along with other senior officials from Rajbhasha.
Highlighting a crucial aspect, the committee emphasized the necessity of providing training to employees who are yet to be acquainted with the official language rules and regulations. Additionally, they stressed the importance of issuing personal orders for the use of Hindi (Official Language) in the workplace by those who have already received training. The Committee also urged for the Hindi language to be prioritized at par with regional languages in routine railway advertisements and for the organization of regular workshops focused on the Hindi language.
