Renowned Telugu actor Chandra Mohan passed away at the Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad after suffering a heart attack. The 82-year-old actor had been undergoing treatment for heart-related issues. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
Chandra Mohan breathed his last on Saturday morning at 9.57 am, according to Apollo PRO Jagan. The final farewell and last rites are scheduled for Monday, November 13, in Hyderabad.
The Telugu film industry mourned the loss, with Megastar Chiranjeevi expressing his sorrow. Chiranjeevi recalled Chandra Mohan’s notable performances in films like ‘Sirisirimuvva,’ ‘Sankarabharanam,’ ‘Radhakalyanam,’ and ‘Nakoo Pellam Khali.’ Jr NTR and other actors also paid tribute, remembering Chandra Mohan’s versatile acting and expressing condolences to his family.
In a heartfelt tribute, actor Sai Tej Dharam reminisced about Chandra Mohan’s memorable characters, saying, “His is a face that takes us down memory lane & puts a smile on our faces every time with his memorable Acting & characters. May your soul rest in peace Chandra Mohan sir. Om Shanti.”
Aadi Saikumar expressed his sadness, stating, “Really saddened to learn about #ChandraMohan Garu, a truly remarkable individual. My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time. May his soul find eternal peace.”
