As MILAN 2024 approaches, Visakhapatnam gears up for a remarkable maritime event. In preparation for the multi-lateral naval exercise, partial traffic restrictions will be enforced along Beach Road on 17, 18, and 19 February 2024.

These restrictions are crucial to accommodate the rehearsal parade, a vital part of MILAN 2024’s practice sessions. The grand culmination of these rehearsals will be the International City Parade on 22 February at RK Beach, promising to be a standout event in one of India’s largest maritime exercises hosted in Visakhapatnam.

To facilitate the smooth execution of the rehearsal parade, the police will implement partial traffic restrictions along Beach Road. Commuters are advised that vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be prohibited on both lanes, from Park Hotel to Coastal Battery, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on the specified dates. Vehicle parking during these hours will also not be permitted.

In light of these restrictions, all motorists and pedestrians are urged to seek alternative routes. This measure aims to ensure the safety and efficiency of the rehearsal parade, contributing to the overall success of MILAN 2024. The cooperation of the public of Visakhapatnam is appreciated as the city prepares for this significant maritime event.
