Relocation of Chief Minister's Office because of shifting of CM Jagan to Vizag

On 5th August government officials conducted an inspection of the ongoing projects at Rushikonda

According to these officials, Chief Minister Jagan is scheduled to move to Visakhapatnam on October 24th, 2023, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Dasara

This announcement was reiterated by State Industries and IT Minister Gudivada Amarnath

The CM's camp office, situated on Rushikonda in the city, has completed its civil construction work

However, interior work for both the office and residence remains pending, with the goal of completing them in the near future

Officials from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) and contractors assessed the progress of the construction

The repeated statements from YSRCP representatives about relocating the state capital have faced criticism from the public due to the ever-changing dates in each announcement

With the "three capital" bill having been introduced nearly two years ago, the authenticity of these statements made by ministers and MLAs has been called into question

Amidst concerns about the environmental impact on Rushikonda Hill and the loss of green cover, the decision to shift the capital and relocate the CMO prompts questions about public acceptance of this move
